FRANKLIN, KY — Mrs. Louise Krueger Lambert, age 95, passed away, peacefully, with her daughter by her side, Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Medco Nursing Facility in Franklin, KY.
She was born in 1916 in St. Johnsburg, NY. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Schuler Krueger. She lived 62 years in Niagara Falls before moving to Kentucky in 2000 to live near her daughter.
Louise grew up on her family’s farm in St. Johnsburg and was the 12th of 13th children. She enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially baseball, hockey and golf. She worked for 27 years at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center as a ward clerk.
She was preceded by two brothers, George and Henry, and six sisters, Esther, Lydia, Ruth, Meta, Mary and Lucinda.
Louise is survived by a daughter, Deanna Wilson of Franklin, KY; a son, John Lambert and his wife, Linda of Homassa, FL; a brother, Edward Krueger and his wife, Zola of Kenmore, NY; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service may be held in St. Johnsburg at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
