neral services will be h e l d

Roth Funeral Home for Henry
G. Hartman, 78, jof 583 Old Falls
Blvd. Burial will be in White
Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Hartman, a retired general
foreman at Du Pout's Niagara
Works, d.ed Saturday
(Nov.. 30, 1968) in the Abbey
Nursing Home, Town of Tonawanda.
He had been there for
six weeks. Prior to that he was
a patient in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital.
Several months after joining
the R and H Chemical Co. of
Niagara Falls in the mid 1920s,
he was promoted to foreman, a
post he retained when the firm
became Du Pont's Electrochemical
Division in the early 1930s.

Suryivors include his wife, the
former Frances Gierke; a son,
Raymond, and two daughters,
Mrs. Henry Thiele and Mrs.
Thomas Billings, all of this
city; six sisters, Mrs. William
Hammond of Chaffee, Mrs. Conrad
Dahmer of Buffalo, Mrs.
Robert Schmerbach of Kenmore,
Mrs. George Brock of
this city, Mrs. Richard Nowark
of Orlando, Fal, and Mrs. Clarof
Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Clarf
o u r brothers, Robert and
David, both of Pendleton, Eugene
of Grand Island, and Leonard
of Tucson, Ariz., six grandchildren
and thr.ee great-grandchildren.
