CARROLL - Royal
(Roy) Fales Carroll, 83,
of North Tonawanda
Wednesday (Nov. 5,1975)
in DeGraff Memorial
Hospital. Born on Grand
Island, he had been a
r e s i d e n t of North
Tonawanda the greater
part of his life and was
the husband of Pauline
(nee Zaggel) Carroll, who
died in 1973 and father of
Robert R. Carroll, who
died in 1966.
Mr. Carroll who was
well known to many for
his athletic capabilities in
various sports, throughout;,
the Tonawandas and was
a member of the old
F r o n t i e r (Gratwick)
Football Team in his
youth. He was a past
president and business
agent of the Carpenters
and Joiners Union, Local
369, a member of the
Buffalo District Council
a n d t h e N o r th
T o n a w a n d a Labor
Relations Board during
World War II. He was
also a member of the
Eldredge Club and the
Last Man's Club.
He is survived by two
daughters, Miss Dorothy
H. Carroll of North
Tonawanda and Mrs.
John (Jeanett) Drenocky
of t h e Town of
T o n a w a n d a ; three
grandchildren and one
great-granddaughter,
Kristen Drenocky of
Cabot, Pa.
Friends may call from
7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday
at John O. Roth Funeral
Home, Morgan and
William Sts., Tonawanda
where services will be
conducted at 10 a.m.
Saturday by the Rev.
Frank E. Wright. Burial
will Be in White Chapel
Cemetery. In lieu of
f l o w e r s , memorial
contributions may be
made to the Heart
Association of Western
New York.
