  Niagara Gazette - 1/6/1965 M I D D L E P O R T -- Mrs Helene Baehr Gilbert, 61, Lew- iston Road, Town of Alabama, died Tuesday night (Jan. 5, 1965) at St. Jerome's Hospital, Batavia, where she had been a patient for the last six weeks She was born Nov. 2, 1903, in the Town of Royalton, the daughter of Otto W. and Helene Mietz Baehr. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcotts- ville. Her husband, Clifton E. Gilberrt, died in 1953. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Boyer, Oakfield; a son, Stanley Gilbert, Lew- iston Road, this village; three grandchildren; a brother, Her- man Baehr, this village; two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Brunn Bruning, Akron, N.Y., and Mrs. John Leffler, West Shel- by; several nieces and ne- phews. Friends may call today and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, State Street, and from 1-2 p.m. Fri- day at St. Michael's Lutheran Church where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Fri- day by Rev. Hilbert Heuth. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
