- NIAGARA FALLS Barbara Nablo Cumming died Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Vienna, Virginia at age 66. Born in North Tonawanda to the late Harrison and Katherine Schear Nablo, she was an avid gardener, gourmet cook, and valued time with friends and family above all else. She began her career in education and earned a Masters Degree in Library Science from SUNY Buffalo in 1986. She joined the law firm of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar and Fitzgerald in McLean, VA, as their law librarian and served in that capacity until her passing. She took great pride in her work. Survived by her husband, Paul. She was loving mother to Ethan (Pepper), Honolulu, HI, Kristin (Joe) Murdock (Leesburg, VA) and "Grand B" to Nicholas and Justin Murdock. She will be sorely missed by her sisters, Susan Nablo of Lockport, Jennifer (Bill) Blandford of Richmond , VA, Dawn (Dennis) Soltis of Chardon, OH; and her step-mother, Geraldine Nablo of Lockport. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Linda (Jim) Nadbrzuch; brother-in-law, William Cumming of Fill more, NY; and nieces, Rachel Nadbrzuch, Nicole (Nelson) McCullough, Ericka Milczarski, all of North Tonawanda, Kyra Cappelucci (Chardon, OH); and nephews, Ryan Nadbrzuch (N. Tonawanda) and David Cappelucci (Chardon, OH). A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on August 12, 2010, in Vienna, Virginia.
