Funeral services for Burr T. Breed.
81, of 1828 Cleveland avenue, will
be conducted at the Beatty Funeral
home at 1 p.m. on Friday by the
Rev.-John A. Redmond, pastor of
St. Paul's Methodist church.
Mr. Breed died yesterday in Buffalo
after an illness of two months.
Surviving are his wife. Nellie E.;
a son, Neil Breed, this city; a
brother, Frank E. Breed, Lincoln,
Neb., an two grandchildren.
Mr. Breed was well known in the
North End business section as an
employe of the former Townsend
Taylor Hardware company, now
Burleson and Canavan Hardware
corporation, for a number of years.
For 15 years, up until the time of
his retirement two years ago, Mr.
Breed had worked at the Globar
division of the Carborundum company.
He was a lifelong member
of St. James Methodist church and
a former president of the men's club
at that church.
A native of Lyndonville. Mr.
Breed came to this city in 1919.
After services here, the body will
be returned to Lyndonville for
burial.
