- Linda D. (Ray) Credicott of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 after a brief illness. She was 77. She was born in Kane, Pennsylvania on April 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Marvin and DeFrance (Zahniser) Ray. She attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School.
Linda worked at New York Telephone in 1958 and married Richard P. Credicott in 1961 and they remained happily married for 56 years until his passing on May 20, 2017. Shortly after her marriage she became a stay at home mom to raise her family. She then worked at D&K Stores from 1984 until 2005. She loved country music, baking, reading, going to the casino and Tuesday shopping trips with her sister Louise but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family and the family pets, Stella, Baxter and Diesel.
Mrs. Credicott is survived by her two daughters: Kelly (late Thomas) Riexinger and Tracy Credicott, three grandchildren: Thomas (Emily) Riexinger, Christopher (Kayla Schmidt) Riexinger and Kayla Credicott, two great-grandchildren: Savannah and Sydney and her twin sister Louise (late Jack) Livermore. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Richard P. Credicott in 2017.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Tuesday from 3-7 PM where a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094
