Schultze - Treadwell
Mr. and Mrs. Elwood F. Treadwell,
Pasadena Avenue, announce
the engagement of their daughter,
Dorothy May, to Dr. Helmuth
W.; Schultze, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Schultze, Poughkeep-
Miss Treadwell is a graduate of
LaSalle High School and Alfred
University. Dr. Schultze is a graduate
of Rensselaer Polytechnical
Institute, New York State College
for Teachers, Albany, and
served in the U. S. Navy during
World War II.
. The wedding will take place
September 22.

Miss Dorothy M. Treadwell,
who witl become the bride of
Dr, Helmuth W. Schultze, Sept.
22, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Methodist
Church, announced today
the wedding attendants:
Mrs. William A. Miller will
be matron of honor for her sister,
and Miss Alma Hughart and
Miss Linda Trigg will be bridesmaids.
L. Walter Schultze will
be best man for his brother, and
ushers will be Elwood Treadwell,
brother of the bride, and
Dr. Frederick H. Buttner.
Among the parties to be given
in honor of the bride-elect is a
variety shower, to be given by
Miss Trigg at her home in
Pershing Ave. Tuesday. Mr.
and Mrs. Alfred Rogers will be
hosts for a dinner party for the
future bride and bridegroom
Friday evening at their home in
60th Street.
The couple was honored with a
picnic given by the Young
Adults of St. Paul's Methodist
Church, and with a dinner at
The Chateau and a theater party
for "Cinerama" in Buffalo, by
Mr and Mis. R. L. Dickinson
and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dickinson
Jr.
Mrs. Andrew McKnight, aunt
of the bride, entertained with a
variety shower for relatives at
The Heights, Newfane.
