Lorin Treichler
Dies in Jersey
SANBORN-Lorin W. Treichler,
78. died. Saturday (Oct. 6,
1956) at his home Dunellen. N. J.,
after suffering a heart attack. A
native of this community, he was
the son of the late Eli J. and
Elizabeth Landis Treichler, Saunders
Settlement Rd.
Mr. Treichler left here when he
was 18 and-took up the machinist's
trtde at Waynesboro. Pa. He
operated his own machine shop at
Dunellen.
Surviving are his wife, Vera
Jeffferys Hardingham Treichler;
two sons- Lorin Treichler. Plainfield,
N. J., and Carmen Treichler,
Minnesota: three brothers, Harry
J. Treichler, Sanborn, Dr. Claude
Landis Treichler, Philadelphia. Pa.,
and Abram B, Treichler, Colonial
Village; four sisters, Mrs. Alex E.
Reid, and Mrs. William Truesdale,
both of Sanborn, Mrs. William
N: Langworthy, Rochester, N.Y.,
and Miss Hazel M. Treichler.
Colonial Village; and several
nephews and nieces in this area-.
Mr. Treichler's first wife. Margaret
Frantz Treichler. died in
Dunellen in January 1942.
Services will be conducted at
3 p.m. Tuesday at Dunellen. Burial
will be in Waynesboro on Wednesday.
