SHERMAN - Mrs. Marian McLagen
Sherman, 74, 70 Rexford St. died at
the Chenango Memorial Hospital at 3;
p. m. Saturday. She is survived by
her husband, Frank Sherman, Norwich;
two daughters, Mrs. Clarissa Wallace,
Oxford and Mrs. Avelyne Holcomb,
Norwich; five sisters, Mrs. Jess
(Maude) Moses, Hamilton; Mrs. Lydia
Marlntyre, Oneonta; Mrs. Kirk (Helen)
Moses and Mrs. Addie Blood, both of
Norwich and Mrs. Ernestine Hoffman,
Guilford, seven grandchildren, Mrs.
Janet Magistro, Mrs. Donald Law,
Frances Call, all of Norwich; Lt. Richard
Wallace, Topeka, Kan., John Wallace,
Norwich, Marian and Nelson Wallace,
Oxford; 10 great grandchildren;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member and past Noble
Grand of Lily of the Valley Rebekah
Lodge, and the Women of the Moose
and Pocahontas Lodge. Funeral services
will be held at the Robert J. Fahy Funeral
Home, Norwich at 2 p. m. Wednesday.
The Rev. Thomas G. Swales, D.D.,
pastor of the Boulevard Methodist
Church of Binghamton will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home
today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
The Women of the Moose will conduct
memorial services at the funeral home
rhis evening at 7:15. Lily of the
Valley Rebekah Lodge will conduct
memorial services at 7:30 this evening
and Pocahontas Lodge will conduct
memorial services at 7:45 this
evening.
