Services for Edward J. Schultz, 66, retired marketing manager for the Electro-Minerals Division of Carborundum County, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul-Calvary Lutheran Church, 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue. Burial will be in St. Paul-Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz.
Schultz, of Lewiston Road, died Sunday (Feb. 19, 1989) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Niagara Falls, he served as a quartermaster with the Army Air Forces in Europe and the Pacific during World War II.
Schultz worked as the marketing manager for 42 years, until his retirement in 1982.
He was a past council president of St. Paul-Calvary Church, a post he held for nine years. He was a past chairman of the church Worship Committee, a member of the church choir and a member of the board of directors of Meals on Wheels in Niagara Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, John of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Gertrude Gombert of North Tonawanda and Helen DeVantier of Warren, Mich., and two grandchildren.
