Harry E. Browder

BUFFALO — Harry E. Browder, age 64, of Lancaster, NY, entered into rest on October 10, 2012, at the Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 2, 1947 to the late Clinton and Virginia (Clark) Browder. Harry was a U.S. Navy veteran that served during the Vietnam era, receiving the Good Conduct Medal. He had an extensive education through the Federal Aviation Administration and Navel training. Harry was employed with the Federal government for over 40 years, working in the Department of Defense, and the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring in 2005. Hobbies and interests included fishing, golfing and carpentry.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna J. (Pettitt) Browder. They were united in marriage on August 30, 1968; two children, Kimberly Garvey of Cheektowaga and Kevin Browder of Lancaster; a grandson, Zachary Garvey; five sisters, Thersa (Russell) Colosi, Barbara (Frank) Chirello, Darlene (Robert) Cronkhite, Sharon (Hartley) Kroening and Betty Weidert; one aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz), in Wheatfield on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher on Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home, along with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Inst., or a Hospice of your choice.
