WILSON, April 1.-Miss Elizabeth M.
Upton, daughter of Town Superintendent
of Highways and Mrs. George
H. Upton, was united in marriage t o
Burton H Brant of this place at the
home of the bride's parents on Saturday
at high noon, the Rev. C. W. Vand-
enbergh. pastor of the Baptist Church
officiating. The Iohengrin wedding
march was played by Miss Helen
Stevens as the bridal party entered the
parlor. The ceremony took place under
a huge, arch of pink and white.
The bride was charming In a gown
of pink silk crepe with ecru lace and
carried bride's roses. She was attended
by Miss Ruth Truesdale as
maid of honor and Miss Garnette Isrel
And Miss Mary Farquharson as bridesmaids.
The bridegroom was attended
by Lawrence Upton as best man and
Elwin Upton And Morris Upton as
ushers, all brothers of the bride.
A wedding dinner followed the ceremony,
covers being laid for 25. The
bride's table was centered with a large
wedding rake, with doves holding a
ring and with .sweet peas In profusion
Among the out-of-town guests were
Mrs. Addle Wallenweln. Pekin; Miss
Ruth Truesdale and Miss Mary Farquhatrson.
Ransomville. The coule left
on a wedding trip to Toronto and upon
return will be at home at Wilson.
