NORTH TONAWANDA, Oct 25
-Before an altar adorned with
white gladioli and fern, at St. Peter's
Lutheran church. North Ridge, Miss
Phyllis Lucille Simmons, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Simmons,
this city, and Mr. Elton Levell Urtel.
son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Urtel, Wilson, were united in marriage.
The double ring ceremony
was solemnized with the Rev. Carl
W. Oldach officiating.
The bride was gowned in a
candclight bridal satin suit. A tiny
cuffed sleeve and Peter Pan collar
of seed pearls and lace accented the
fitted jacket. Beneath the jacket, a
strapless gown with Pouit De Venise
lace bodice and full flaring ballerina
skirt of satin completed the
costume. A satin Juliet cap enhanced
with imported silk illusion
and seed pearls held the short veil
of matching illusion. She carried a
colonial bouquet of white roses and
white chrysanthemums.
As matron of honor. Mrs. Jerald
Kinzly, Huntington. Long Island,
wore a suit of American beauty vel-
vet styled after the bride's, with blue
velvet accessories. She carried a
colonial bouquet.
Mr. Donald Kopp, Lockport, wast roses,
best man.
For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.
Simmons chose a claret wine lace
dress over silk taffeta with black
velvet accessories and corsage of
white chrysanthemums and yellow
roses. Mrs. Urtel selected a navy
blue crepe with navy accessories, and
corsage of white chrysanthemums
and pink roses.

Mrs. William Rohring Wilson, and
Mrs. Frank Parks. North Ridge, Mrs.
Louis Simmons, Ransomville, grandmothers
of the bride, all wore corsages
of gardenias and gladioli tips
tied with silver ribbon.
Following the ceremony, a dinner
was served for the bridal party and
immediate family at the Elks temple.
A reception for 300 guests was held
also at the Elks temple.
After a honeymoon to the Adirondacks.
the couple will be at home
at 3 Chipman place.
