Michael Buckley, 82, of -885
Bleecker, died Mar. 12, 1953 at
his home after an extended illness.
Born Oct. 28. 1870 in Macroon.
County Cork, Ireland, he
waa *- son of Timothy and Mary
Callahan Buckley. In 1892 he came
to this country and settled In this
ivicinity. For many years he was
in business for himself as a tailor.
For 22 years he had operated a
restaurant in UUca, retiring many
years ago. On Oct. 5. 1898 he married
Ida C. Vaeth in St. Marys
Church. Mr. Buckley was a member
of St Agnes' Church and
Holy Name Society
He leaves his wife, four sons,
John C.,, Eugene M., W. Gerald
and Timothy J. Buckley, all of
Utica; two daughters, Miss Mary
E. Buckley and Mrs. Charles Mc-
Cleary, both of Utica; one sister,
Mrs. Hannah Williams, Ireland;
eight grandchildren and two great
grandchildren, and several nieces
and nephews.
The funeral will be at 9 a m.
tomorrow from the Ortner Fu-
neral Home, 130 Eagle and at
9:30 a.m. from St. Agnes Church
where a solemn requiem high
Mass will be offered. Burial will
be in Calvary Cemetery.
