YOUNGSTOWN-A lifelong
resident; of the Town of Porter
and a retired-farmer, Levi
VanLuven, 73, of 1018 Youngstown-
WIlson Road, died Wednesday
(Jan. 30,1963) at Mount
View H o s p i t a l , Lockport,
where he had been a patient
for three months. ;
Mr. VanLuven was born in
Creek Road here Aug. 14,1889,
son of Matthias and Mary
Martin VanLuven. He was a
former member of Ft. Niagara
Lodge No. 716, IOOF, and a
former noble grand of the
lodge. His wife, Mrs. Caroline
Cloy VanLuven, died about
20 years ago.
Surviving, are a daughter,
Mrs. Clifford Wasmund, this
community, and a sister, Mrs.
Daisy Balcom, this village
Services will be conducted
at 11, a.m.. Saturday at Hardison
f u n e r a l Home, Ridge
S t r e e t , Lewiston, by: Rev.
James A. Akin of the Youngstown
First P r e r b y t e r l an
Church. Burial will be in Riv-
erdale Cemetery:
