  Olean Times Herald - 12/23/1980 WILFRED C. BOCKMIER NIAGARA FALLS - Wilfred C. Bockmier, a former resident of Allegany, died Monday (Dec.22.1980) in Niagara Falls.Born Nov. 2. 1918. in Allegany, he was a son of Henry and Florence Allen Bockmier.He was married to the former Irene Lindermoth, who survives.Mr. Bockmier was employed at the Globar Division of Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls.He was a member of the Prince of Peace Church of Niagara Falls: and a past member of Allegany Volunteer Fire Department; and past member of Niagara Falls Auxiliary Police Force.Surviving besides his widow,are two sons, Wilfred R. (Bud)Bockmier of Niagara Falls and Robert J. Bockmier of Bonita Springs. Fla.; four daughters,Mrs. Mary Jane Dier and Mrs.Robert (Marjorie) Kelly, both of Niagara Falls. Mrs. Donald(Shirley) Hughes and Mrs.San to (Patricia) Zanghi. both of Bonita Springs; a sister. Rosamond Bovaird of Clearwater. Fla.: and 10 grandchildren.Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home. Inc..8622 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to9 p.m.. where a prayer service will be held Wednesday (Dec.24. 1980) at 8:30 a.m.. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a m. in St. John's DeLaSalle Church. Niagara Falls. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Allegany.
