LOCKPORT — Walter C. Anterline passed away July 27, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born November 7, 1924 in Lockport, he was the son of Walter C. and Louise (Burkhardt) Anterline. Walter served in the US Army from 1943 to 1945 during WW II, he earned the American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years in the Tool & Die Room retiring in 1982. Walter was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Lockport and enjoyed bowling, politics and baseball. He was predeceased by his wife Hazel (Werth) Anterline on August 31, 2002. Walter is survived by his two sons, Keith (Carole) Anterline of Lockport and Kevin Anterline of New York City. He was predeceased by his brother, William Anterline; and sister, Verna Baker. Walter is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM.
