Notes - BERNADINE E. PINIZZOTTO (nee DelZoppo), 91 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully Sunday December 15, 2019 in Northgate Healthcare Facility after a brief illness. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 7, 1928 to the late Flavia (nee Orlando) and Donato DelZoppo. On February 19, 1972 the former Bernadine E. DelZoppo married Samuel P. Pinizzotto in Niagara Falls. He passed away October 12, 2007. Bernie worked for many years as a cook at Biagio’s Restaurant and later at the Como Restaurant. Her pastimes included traveling and bowling. She is survived by two step-sons: Tom (Felicia) Pinizzotto of Roseville, CA and Sam Pinizzotto of Wellsville, NY; a granddaughter, Holly A. Sootheran of Niagara Falls, NY; five great-grandchildren; T.J., Justin, Janelle, Angelina Pinizzotto and Emmanual A. Sootheran of Niagara Falls, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Bernie was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her step-daughter the late Joy (Anthony) Pazamickas; ten siblings; the late Albert (Edna) DelZoppo, Thomas (Emma) Del Zoppo, Vincent (Doreen) Del Zoppo, Rocco (Elande) Del Zoppo, Adolph (Rita) DelZoppo, Phyllis Murphy, Mary Molino, Orlando, Americo and Sally Ann DelZoppo.
The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday 6-8 PM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14301. (same location as Otto Redanz Funeral Home) where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends invited.
