- Dwight R. Jeeves Obituary
Dwight Jeeves passed away July 25, 2024. He was born May 5, 1946 to the late Martha and Robert Jeeves. Dwight graduated from North Tonawanda High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force, from which he received the Vietnam Service Medal, recognizing his military service during the Vietnam War.
Dwight was employed by Kittinger Furniture Company as a proud member of a team that created furniture for the White House, commissioned directly by the President. Dwight is the creator and original owner of Colosso Taco in Tonawanda and later Niagara Falls, NY serving up tacos, cheese crisps, and stinger subs to countless Western New Yorkers for many years. He then channeled his skill and love of woodworking into his own business, creating finely crafted furniture, cabinetry, and decor.
Dwight is survived by his sons Robert (Dusty), and Daniel (Natalie), and their mother Kathleen Jeeves. He is the grandfather of two beloved grandchildren, Mason and Grace Jeeves. He is also survived by his sisters Sue Lance, Marlene Guenther, Sharon Jeeves, and his brother Michael (Michele) Jeeves as well as many nieces and nephews. Dwight was predeceased by his siblings Nan Olson, Nancy Parise, David (Buzzy) Jeeves and Tom Jeeves.
