Mrs. Fred Voelker, 43 Maple
Ave., will be guests of honor
at a family dinner Sunday at
the Apple Grove Inn in observance
of their 50th wedding
anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Voelker were
married Dec. 12, 1917. They
have lived in their, present
home for two years. At one
time they operated a farm at
Yates Center for 20 years. Before
that, they operated a
farm oh Lower Lake Road.
Mr. Voelker is presently employed
by Wolfe's Lumber
Mill, Gasport. The couple belongs
to St. John's Lutheran
Church.
They have five children,
Mrs. Elwood (Loretta) Atwater,
Barker; Mrs. William
(Bernice) Balschmiter, Hilton;
Mrs. Paul (Marcia)Kenyon,
Lyndonville; Leland Voelker,
Gasport, and Raymond
