  Niagara Gazette - 10/14/1949 Veteran Farmer Dies LOCKPORT, Oct 14 - A Town of Lockport farmer for over 50 years, Herman Voelker, 76, died yesterday at the Casey nursing home at Gas- port. Mr. Voelker was born in Ger- many and lived most of his life in Niagara county. He is survived by a son, Howard, Middleport, and two brothers. Charles. Wheatfleld. and Fred. Town of Lockport. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Gaul funeral home, 263 East avenue, with burial in Trinity Lutheran cemetery.
