- Obituary for Earl J. Cottrell
Earl J. Cottrell, 89, born in Tonawanda and a longtime resident of North Tonawanda, passed away August 15, 2024. He was a talented trumpet player, performing with the American Legion Band and several other local groups. Earl worked at Remington Rand, Gardei Industries, and Moore Business Forms. In his later years, he enjoyed crafting wooden characters and painting them with care. Earl is survived by his children, Earl H. (Sue) Cottrell, Mary Kay (late Patrick) Lee, and Michael (Camille) Cottrell. He also leaves behind grandchildren Matthew (Rachel) Lee, Patrick (Jennifer) Lee, Shaun (Kristin) Lee, Nick (Kate) Cottrell, and Andrew (Kristal) Cottrell, as well as great-grandchildren Braeden, Payton, Brooklyn, Landon, Piper, Matthew Jr., Grace, and Owen Lee.
No prior visitation. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 11 AM at Elmlawn Cemetery, 3939 Delaware Avenue, Town of Tonawanda (Please Assemble a few minutes prior to 11 AM inside the Delaware Avenue Gate.)
