  Notes	Niagara Gazette - 4/4/1953 WILSON. April 4- Miss Lois Mildred Volls became the bride of Richard J. Walker at St. Paul's Lutheran church, North Tonawanda, March 28, with the Rev. Mr. Rehkoph officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Volls, 267 Wilcox street, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walker, East Youngstown road. The bride was charming in white nylon net over satin with basque fitted bodice of lace buttoned to the waist at the back of the net illusion neckline. The fitted ileeves came to points at the wrists. Her fingertip veil of illusion was held by a lace and satin cap.. She wore a strand of pearls, a gift from the bridegroom. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Robert Walker, Jr., Wilson, matron of honor, wore aqua net off the shoulder neckline with fitted bodice, bouffat skirt over taffeta and headpiece of matching net and velvet. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses. The mother of the bride wore navy blue with white accessories and carried yellow roses. . The mother of the bridegroom wore a similar costume. .A reception followed the ceremony at' American Legion hall, Newfane. Music was supplied by Danny DeNardo's Orchestra. A three-tiered wedding cake centered the bride's table. More than 230 guests attended from Buffalo, Lockport, Niagara Falls, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda ind Middleport, For the wedding trip, the bride wore i blue suit and accessories to match. She carried an orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Walker will make their future home in the East Youngstown road, Wilson.

  OBITUARY Lois M. Walker of  North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on  Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Harris Hill Nursing Facility.   She was born in Lockport, NY, on July 20, 1930, a daughter of the late  Martin and Mildred [Cornell] Volls. Mrs. Walker graduated from Wilson High School in 1949 and remained an active member of the school's alumni association. She was employed as an office manager with Westinghouse in Cheektowaga for many years. Mrs. Walker was a  member of  St. Jude the Apostle Parish in  North Tonawanda, NY. She was the wife of the late Richard Walker who passed away in 1975 and dear friend of Robert North who passed away in 2017. Mrs. Walker was the mother of Bonnie (James) Fritz and Donna Walker, six grandchildren Kristin (Timothy) Pitts, Allissa Justin) Halderman, Andrew Aki,  Alexander (Alicia) Aki, Megan (Michael) Dillon and Ryan (Alyson) Fritz,  twelve great grandchildren, sister in  law of Nancy (Richard) Reak and Ronald (Kay) Kaiser and was the aunt of Marty R. Volls and Jayne (Douglas) Lloyd. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Martin Volls. Her family will be present on Saturday from 10-11:00 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, followed by  funeral services at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. James Kirkpatrick officiating.   Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 6215 Sheridan Drive, Buffalo, NY  14221. Interment at North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
