  Niagara Gazette - 9/3/1961 WILSON - Fred Israel, 86, of 193 Pettit St., died Saturday in Newfane Inter- Community Hospital where he was admitted a. week ago, after being stricken at home. Born in Gardenville, he was a resident here for 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was the father of the late Walter Israel who died 17 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two brothers, Herman Israel, Newfane, and Burt Israel, this village, and three sisters, Mrs. A n n a Toenniesson, Mrs. Clara Schuman. and Mrs. Ida Dietrick, all of this village. Funeral services will be conducted at Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Clarence W. Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Cor- win cemetery, Newfane.
