OLCOTT-John M. Tatu, 56, of 1642 Lockport-Olcott
Road, died Friday (March 15, 1968) in Lockport Memorial
Hospital after a long illness.
He was born June 21, 1911, in
Lockport. son of John and Anna
belle (O'Connors) Tatu. He. was
married on Feb. 10, 1934, to
Agnes M. Donner, in. Olcott. .
He had lived in the Olcott
area for 50 years and was employed
for 34 years at Harrison
Radiator Division. General Motors
Corp., in Lockport and at
the time of his retirement on
Sept. 1, 1967, he was a dispatcher
in the stock department.
He was a member of St.
Survivors include his widow
and two sisters, Mrs. William
(Rose) Rooney and Mrs. Clarence
(Emma) Volschow, and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call beginning at
7 o'clock tonight and Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Rutland-Corwin F u n e r al
Home. Newfane. The rosary will
be recited at 8:30 p.m. today.
Prayers will be said at 10:30
a.m. Monday and mass at 11
in St. Charles Church, the Rev.
Eugene L. Wagner officiating,
Burial will be in St. Charles
Cemetery.
