Notes - Vida M. Vossen, 95, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (January 8, 2017). Ms. Vossen was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 4, 1921 to Philip A and Vida (Anderson). Vida was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1945-1946 Stationed in Washington, DC, she retired after 33 years as secretary to the President of Houdaille Industries in 1983. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church, Martha Circle, The Woman's Memorial, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Vida was predeceased by her sister Catherine Getman.
Vida is survived by Ellen Goerss family and the Judith Pankow family, her cousins Betty Jane Fenwick, and William Anderson, and many grand nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow. Interment will be held in Acacia Park
