- Mary Louise (Larson) Wade, formerly of Munson Avenue currently residing in assisted living in Virginia, passed from this earthly life on Thursday July 24, 2015 in Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA. She was 91.
Mrs. Wade was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 13, 1924 the daughter of the late Thure M. and May L. (McRory) Larson. She attended local schools and began her career in banking in 1960 as a bank Teller with the former Marine Midland Bank, retiring in 1981 after 21 years of dedicated customer service.
Mary was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church since the late 1950 serving on many committees including as treasurer of the Missionary Group for many years.
Survivors include her husband Walter Glenwood Wade, her children: John R. (Donna) Cooper of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Sharon Docteur of St. Paul, Minnesota, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert A. Larson.
Family will be present Tuesday 4-8 P.M. in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A..M. Wednesday in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 616 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 with the Rev. Robert Duerr officiating. Interment will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton.
