The marriage of Miss Martha
Marie Altmayer, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Jacob Altmayer to Leon
M. Schuyler, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Milo Schuyler of Sodus, N.Y.,
was solemnized on October 5 at
7 p.m. in Frieden's Evangelical
and Reformed Church. the Rev.
Theodore Mayer officiated at the
double ring ceremony.
Mrs. Norman Garlopo was the
soloist accompanied by Miss Laura
Neuman, organist.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore white brocaded
satin with chapel length
train and a full length veil of
illusion arranged with a beaded
crown. She wore a double strand
pearl choker, gift of the bridegroom
and carried a colonial bouquet
of white roses centered with
pink and blue flowers.
Miss Joan Altmayer sister of
the bride, as maid of honor, wore
pale blue chiffon over taffeta, the
full skirt falling from a scalloped
waistline. Her headdress was a
cluster of yellow rotes and she
carried a colonial bouquet of yellow
roses centered with mixed
flowers,
The Misses Marie Martz and
Irene Proefrock, cousins of the
bride, wore matching pale pink
gowns with net skirts over taffeta.
They wore red roses in their
hair and carried colonial bouquets
of rod rosea centered with mixed
flowers. All attendants wore ear-
ings their gifts from the bride,
John Castor, brother.tn-law of
the bridegroom was the beat man.
Mason Bish and George Schoelles
served as ushers.
The bride's mother selected a
dress of soldier blue with matching
accessories while the bride-
groom's mother wore navy blue
with matching accessories. Both
wore corsages of mined flowers.
Following a wedding reception
in the home of the bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Schuyler left
for their wedding trip, the bride
traveling in a gray pin stripe suit
with black accessories with
shoulder corsage of mixed flowers.
They will make their home in
1186 Oliver street.
Prenuptial parties were given
by Miss Jean Altmayer, Mrs.
George Profrock and Mrs. Harold
Jedele.
