Notes - WHEATFIELD, Dec. 27.- Mortey F. Mavis, 68 years old, died suddenly today at the family home in the Kueger road, Town of Wheatfield, where he had resided all his
life. Dr. Henry Smoyer was summoned but life was extinct before he arrived. Dr. J. E. Helwig, coroner, pronounced death due to heart disease. Mr. Mavis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Magdeline Mavis; two sons, Christ Mavis and John Watters: three daughters. Mrs. G. F. Strong, Mrs. Paul Graf and Miss Winnifred Mavis; seven grandchildren and seven sisters, all of Wheatfield. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 from St. John's
church.
