NEWFANE-M a u r i c e R.
Blacklock, 61, of 2603 Fifth
Road, Appleton, died Wednesday
(June 23, 1965) at Intercommunity
Memorial Hospital
where he had been for 10
days.
Mr. Blacklock was born Dec.
1, 1904, in Royalton, a son of
George and Mabel Blacklock.
He was a World War II veteran
and served with the Second
Medical Training Regiment.
He was a farmer in this
area for 43 years, and for the
past 20 years was employed
at Harrison Division of General
Motors, Lockport. He
was a member of Hess Road
Wesleyan Ohurch.
Mr. Blacklock married Dorothy
Chase Budde, May 10,
1952 at Appleton. He is survived
also by four sons; Lauren
and Gerald Budde of Appleton,
Melvin Budde Jr., of
Gasport, and Raymond at
home; four daughters; Marie
Webb of Lockport, Mrs. Frank
(Evelyn) Udell of Appteton,
Mrs. William- (Mildred) Harris
of Niagara Falls, and Mrs.
Paul (Sharron) Vincent * of
Lockport, and by 19 grandchildren.
Beginning this evening at 7
p.m., friends may call at the
Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral
Home, 6139 East Ave., where
the family will be present 7-9
p.m. a.wd Friday 2-4 and 7-9
p.m.
Services will be held at the
funeral home at 11 ajm. Saturday
w i t h Rev. Frederick
Moore of Hess, Road Wesleyan
Church officiating. Burial will
be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
