Mrs. Amanda Walker, 97, formerly
of 815 Willow Ave. and a
Niagara Falls resident for 75
years, died Monday (Jan. 23.
1967) in Ransomville General
HospitaL where she had been a
patient for nearly two years.
She was a.native of Wilson,
Mrs. Walker was a 50-year
member of Niagara Chapter No.
658 Order of Eastern Star. She
was a sister of the late James
I. Bonsteel, longtime Customs
inspector here, who died Nov.
2, 1965.
Mrs. Walker is survived by a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Nellie Mas-
terman of Lockport, and a step-
son, William E. Walker, Eustis,
Fla.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the
Otto Redanz Funeral Home,
with Rev. Clarence Van. pastor
of the Evangelical United Brethren
Church, officiating. She was
a member of the church.
Chapter 658. OES, will conduct
a memorial service, at the
funeral home Wednesday at 7
p.m.
Burial will be in Riverdale
