In a double ring candlelight cere-
mony performed by the Rev. Lawrence
E. Herfurth, Miss Roberta
Klail was united in marriage to Mr.
La Verne Harder. . The bride was
given in marriage by her father, at
Zion Evangelical Lutheran church
before an altar banked with white
gladioli.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Klail, Troy avenue,
and the bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Harder,
Ward road, North Tonawanda.
Fashioned of white rosepoint
lact, the bridal gown was made
with a fitted bodice and a mandarin
collar. The bouffant skirt
of scalloped edge lace exposed a
double flounce of tulle which extended
into a chapel-length train
of lace, converging to a point, over
a double tulle flounce over satin.
The gown was adorned with sequins,
rhinestoncs and pearls around
the decolletage and bordering .the
hemline.
she wore black accessories. Both
mothers wore corsages of yellow
roses and blue pompons.
Mr. Ray Brock was best man and
Mr. Arthur Wendler, cousin of the
bridegroom, and Mr. Richard Klail,
brother of the bride, seated the
guests.
A blue lace dress with gold accessories
w as the choice of the
mother of the bride. The mother
of the bridegroom selected a rose
colored dress of lace with which
she wore black accessories. Both
mothers wore corsages of yellow
roses and blue pompons.
Mr. Jack Emmits.sang."Bccause,"
"O Promise Me" and 'The Lord's
Prayer," accompanied by Mr. John
Jaeger, organist.
A four tiered wedding cake was
the centerpiece at the bride's table
for the djnner add reception which
.was held at the St.Johnsburg Fire
hall, Niagara Falls boulevard.
For her wedding-trip to New
York City and the New England
states, Mrs. Harder chose a dusty
pink suit with white accessories,
with which ihe wore an orchid
corsage.
Upon their return the pair will be
at-home at the La Rose apartments.
