Joseph Wilson, 68, of 4612
North Military Road. Town of
Niagara, died Monday (Feb.
6, 1961) at Memorial Hospital
after an illness of about a
year.
Born in Sewickley Heights,
Pa., he had lived in this area
for the last 50 years and in
the Town of N i a g a r a for
about 12 years.
He was a guard at E. I. Dupont
Co. for 25 years.
Mr. Wilson was a member
of LaSalle American Legion
Post No. 1142, and. a veteran
of World War I. He received
a Purple Heart in France and
took part in six battles.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Laura Wilson; three daughters,
Mrs. Gordon Spaulding,
Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Vin,
cent Falvo and Mrs. Donald
Belmont, both of this city;
one brother, Mathew Wilson,
Sewickley Heights, and one
sister, Mrs. Norman Trimber,
,Coreopolis, Pa. and s e v en
grandchildren.
Funeral services w i l l be
held at the Lane Funeral
Home at 1 p.m. Thursday
with Rev. John E. Wickenden
officiating.
B u r i a l will, be in North
Ridge Cemetery, Town of
Cambria.
