Ransomvillc General Hospital. He
was born in Ransomville April
12. 1873. the son of the late George
and Frankie Slocum Roberts.
He lived in this village for the
lasj 18 years and was working for
the Bell Aircraft Corp. when he retired
nine years ago.
Surviving are his wife. Rose M.
Lederhouse Roberts; five daughters.
Mrs. Doris Brewer, Jeddo;
Mrs. Viola Giest and Mrs. Lucy
Wightman. lock port; Mrs. Maud
Barrand, Pekin, and Mrs. Jennie
Wasmund, Niagara Falls; five
sons. Russell Roberts. Pekin; Donald
and Wilford Roberts. North
Tonawanda; Durwood Roberts. Sanborn,
and Douglas Roberts. Bergholtz;
three brothers, Roy and
George Roberts. Niagara Falls, and
Floyd Roberts. Buffalo: two sisters,
Mrs. Frankie Ryan. St. Louis,
and Mrs. Winfield Helfrich. Buffalo.
Several nieces and nephews also
survive.
Funeral Services will be held at
the Pike Funeral Home, here,
Thursday at- 2:30 p. m. with the
Rev. Elmer Verguson officiating.
