Gustav A. Ullrich, a 97-year-old
retired home builder, died yesterday at
his home at 211 Wheeler St..
Tonawanda, after a short illness.
A native of Tonawanda, Mr. Ullrich
worked as a self-employed carpenter
all his life until his retirement about 20
years ago. In 1955, he and his late wife.
Louise, celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary.
He and his wife were lifelong
residents of Tonawanda and members
of Salem United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.
Raymond (Arlene) Sherman of
Lancaster, a son, Franklin C. of
Tonawanda, six grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren.

Delaware St., Tonawanda. is in charge
of arrangements.

Sunday Nov. 15, 1970 at his
residence, 211 Wheeler St.,
Tonawanda, following a short
illness. Mr. Ullrich was a lifelong

and a self-employed home builder.
Member of the Salem United
Church of Christ. Husband of
the late Louise (nee Holzhausen)
Ullrich. Father of the late Mrs.
Edna Gardei and the late Arnold
Ullrich.
He is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Raymond (Arlene)
Sherman of Lancaster, N.Y.;
one son, Franklin C. Ullrich of
Tonawanda, six grandchildren,
fourteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilliard
Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Delaware
St., Tonawanda where services
will be conducted Wednesday
at 2 p.m. The Rev. Karl
H. A. Rest officiating. Interment
in Salem Cemetery.
