Funeral services for George U.
Mack, 78, of 1848 Niagara Ave.,
who died yesterday at his home
after a long illness, will he conducted
at Zion Evangelical Lutheran
Church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday by
the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer. D.D.
Mr. Mack came to this city 54
years ago. He was a native of
Germany; Until his retirement 13
years ago, he had served as a conductor
for the New York Central
Railroad for 41 years. He was a
member of Niagara River Lodge,
F A AM, for 50 years and a member
of Niagara Falls Lodge, 1QOF.
for 47 years. He also was a mem-
ber of the Zion Church and of the
Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
His body will be at me Gridley
Funeral Home until 10 p.m. tomorrow
and at the church after 11 a.m.
Wednesday. Burial will be in
Riverdale Cemetery.
Mr. Mack is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Elizabeth Mack; a son, Harvey.
R. Mack; and a daughter, Miss Al-
berta C. Mack, this city. He also is
survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles
Blttle, Vancouver, B.C.;, two sisters
in Germany and four grandchildren.
