- Loraine C. Corsaro, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at her residence under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Midland, Ontario, Canada, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel (Cadeau) Packwood.
Loraine came to the United States in 1958, where she married the love of her life, William R. Corsaro, on January 25, 1958, at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. A devout Catholic, Loraine was a former member of both Sacred Heart Church and St. John de LaSalle Church. She found joy in shopping for clothes, always presenting herself as well-dressed and stylish. Loraine epitomized grace and elegance, a perfect woman in every sense.
Above all, Loraine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished her family deeply. Her legacy of love, faith, and style will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband of 67 years, Loraine is survived by her daughters, Julie A. (Brad Weiss) Corsaro and Christine M. Corsaro; her grandson, Ezra Weiss; her sister-in-law, Sandra Bobbera; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Sandra Packwood and Joyce Packwood, and her sister-in-law, Jean (late David) Battelini.
