- RONALD "RED" APPOLONEYDECEMBER 10, 1944 - APRIL 8, 2020Ronald "Red" Samuel Appoloney, 75 years old, passed away on April 8, 2020. He was born in Niagara Falls on December 10, 1944, the son of the late Frank "Appy" and Lena (Donato) Appoloney. Red worked as a laborer for Laborers Local 91 for over 30 years until his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed gardening, sports and the New York Yankees. Most importantly Red loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.Red is survived by his children; Anthony (Rebekah Pitoni) Appoloney, Maria (Edward Smith) Appoloney, Ronald (Allison) Appoloney and Gina (Vince Cerrone) Appoloney; his grandchildren Nicholas, Lauren, Tori and Ronald III Appoloney; great- grandson, Alaric Appoloney and his sister, Penelope "Penny" (Mark) McMahan-Adams and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Red was predeceased by his sister, Frances (Donald) Boyd and his infant brother, Richard Appoloney. Private services and interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery were held for the family. A Memorial Mass will be held on a date to be announced.
