Mrs Maud J. Weaver, wife of
Walter Weaver, . 2231 Linwood
avenue, died last evening in Mount
St. Mary's hospital. She had been
ill for the last two years.
Mrs. Weaver, who had resided here
26 years, was widely known in fraternal
circles. She was a past
noble grand of Rlverdale Rebekah
Lodge. No. 195. and department secretary
of the Ladies Auxiliary of
Patriarchs Militant. She was also
a member of the auxiliary of the
Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
Besides her husband, she is survived
by three brothers. John, Arthur
and Judson J. Mathews, all of
Buffalo, and six sisters, Mrs. John
Shugg. of Niagara Falls, Ont.. Mrs.
Dewey Ford, of this city, Mrs. Louis
Bluestein, Mrs. August Flegel and
Mrs. Basil Halloran, of Buffalo, and
Mrs. Harold Young. of Carthage.
Funeral services will be held at
the family home at 2 p.m. Friday,
with the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer
officiating. Burial will be in Memorial
Park cemetery.
