  Stone at Oakwood Cemetery has his name on it. However, he was never buried there. Buried at: Long Island National Cemetery 2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale 11735 Suffolk County New York USA 631-454-4949 Died in a US Naval Reserve Plane crash in Lake George, Volusia County, FL while on a training exercise. Was probably practicing bombing in the National Forest Bombing Range outside of Ocala. Newspaper articles in the Leesburg paper indicate there were a crew of 11. Two survivors were taken to the hospital in Palatka. All were not recovered immediately but within the next week all were accounted for. The unit was flying from Jacksonville Naval Air Station but were originally stationed in Willow Grove, PA.
