The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Stender, pastor of the Ascension Luther church. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Weber. After spending a week at Atlantic City, Dr. and Mrs. Eckerson will be at home May 1. Both parlies are well known In this locality, Mrs. Eckerson formerly resided south of the village.

  Niagara Gazette - 9/11/1935 MEDINA, Sept. 11.-Dr. J. Fred Eckerson, 58 years old. died last evening at his home at Shelby Center, after an illness of only three days. Dr. Eckerson leaves his wife, Dorothy, Weber Eckerson, several cousins and a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, standard time, at the home, with interment at Mt Pleasant cemetery. The Rev. John Spender, of Buffalo, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Theodore Kughner of Medina. The deceased was a member of the staff of the Medina Memorial hospital and a member of the medical societies of Orleans county and New York state.
