LOCKPORT, July 12-Victor R.
Boye, 55, of 252 Willow St., former
Republican committeeman of the
4th Ward, died yesterday afternoon
in City Hospital.
He was born in Newfane, but
lived-most ofvhis life here. He had
served as secretary of the Republi-
can City Committee and as a member
of the Board of Health Commissioners
under former Mayor Edward
H. Gailor.
Mr. Boye was a member of Red
Jacket Lodge No. 686, F&AM, and
a member of St. Peter's Evangelical
and Reformed Church. He had.been
employed for 29 years in the office
of Harrison Radiator Division, General
Motors Corp., here.
Surviving are his-wife, the former
Marguerite Weber; a son, Victor
W. Boye, and a daughter, Doralyn
M. Boye; his mother, Mrs. Mary
Boye, this city; two sisters and two
brothers, Edward H. Boye, Buf-
falo; Mrs. Otto W. Kandt, this city;
Frank J. Boye, Lancaster, and Miss
Emma Boye, Rochester.
Services-will be Thursday at 2
p.m. at the Prudden and Kandt
Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Wright's Corners Cemetery.
