  June 9, 2011 Charlotte J. Bruening Niagara Gazette BUFFALO — Charlotte J. Bruening (Voelker), age 76, of the Town of Lewiston, was called to her heavenly home on June 9, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in the Town of Niagara, NY on June 23, 2011 to the late Frederick and Viola (Collins) Voelker. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the Niagara Wheatfield School District, until her retirement. Charlotte was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, member of the Sanbornite Seniors, enjoyed astrology, crocheting, rock collecting and was an avid reader. Survivors include her son, Mark (Susan) Bruening of Mechanicsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Blaine (Brie) Bruening, Stephen Bruening, Daniel Bruening, Casey Coull and Cody Coull; and one great-grandchild, Colin Bruening. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Coull and a sister, Shirley Hileman. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 11 at 1:30 PM in the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield. Visitation will follow the service from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Interment will take place in Mount View Cemetery, Town of Cambria, on Monday at 9:30 AM.
