LOCKPORT - Norman W.
Rankie 76, of 7159 Akron
Road, died Saturday (Nov. 16.
1968) . at Lockport Memorial
Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Rankie, a life-long resident
of this city, was a member
of the IOO F and the Exempt
Rapids Volunteer Fire
Department. He was employed
by the New York State highway
department as a' maintenance
foreman until his retirement.
He was the husband of
Alice Glena Rankie, who died
in 1959.
He is survived by four
brothers; Chester, Otto, Richard
and Howard Rankie, all of
this dty, an dthree sisters;
Mrs. Ellis (Florence) Van
Buren of this city, and Mrs.
Floyde (Dorothy) Rockwood,
Pendleton and Mrs. (Margaret)
Scfiendel of Royalton;
Friends may call at the
aLnge Funeral Home after 2
p.m. Monday.
Burial will be in the Cold
Springs Cemetery.
