  Nunda NY News - 2/25/1982 HENRY M. WENDT DALTON - Henry M. Wendt, 64, of State Road died Feb. 19, 1982 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw following a long illness. Born in Tonawanda, he resided in Dalton for the past 36 years. He was employed by the state and worked at Letchworth State Park in Portageville. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Angelica. He is survived by his wife, Florence Grimes Wendt; his mother, Elsie Wendt of Plant City, Fla.; three daughers, Mrs. Betty Roby of Dalton, Mrs Mildred Bixby of Nunda, and June Bauer of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sons, Gordon of Phoenix, Ariz., Richard of Portageville, Ralph and John of Dalton; one sister, Violet Desautell of Plant City, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren. A funeral sevice was held Feb. 22 at the Duryea Funeral Home in Nunda with the Rev. Eldyn Simons of (Note - cut off at this point)
