  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 6/15/1959 MEDINA - Mrs. Alice M. Maynard, 80, of 336 N. Main St.. Medina, died Sunday (June 14. 1958) in Medina Memorial Hospital. Her survivors Include 39 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild Mrs. Maynard was born on Nov. 16, 1879, the daughter of Louisa Southwick and Andrew Bowers. Her husband, William, died recently. A son, Eugene W Maynard of Lockport, died June 4. She was a member of the Quaker Rd. and Medina Methodist Churches. Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Paul Goetze and Mrs. Walter Goetze, both of Lyndonville, Mrs. John Wittcop of Lockport, Mrs. Wilson King of Medina. Mrs. Paul Hedley of Ol- cott; four sons, Frank of Medina, Edward of Lyndonville, Charles of Newfane, and Arthur of Gasport; one brother, Roy Bowers of Barker; two sisters. Mrs. Ethel Meland of Barker and Miss Lillian Bowers of Albion. Friends may call at the Hood Funeral Home, Barker, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30. Services will be held from the Quaker Rd. Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2. Contributions may be made to the Medina Memorial Hospital building fund. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cem etery.
