  The Buffalo News - October 16, 1997 Mildred K. Wittcopp, a native of Niagara County who had previously worked for the Niagara-Wheatfield School District and Niagara County Department of Social Services, died Tuesday (Oct. 14, 1997) in Clinton Lutheran Home. Mrs. Wittcopp, 89, had resided in the Syracuse area and Clinton for the past several years. She was born in Niagara County and had been a longtime resident. She had worked as an accounting clerk for Niagara-Wheatfield schools and then for the county Department of Social Services in Niagara Falls. Mrs. Wittcopp also was a life member of both Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Pendleton and Zion Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. Her husband, Arthur A., died in 1988. Mrs. Wittcopp is survived by a son, the Rev. William A. of Rochester; a daughter, Kathryn Gentry of East Syracuse; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Burial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Acacia Park and Resthaven Memorial Garden, Pendleton.
