- Robert “Bobby” Tickett, 57, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away, unexpectedly, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on August 23, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Richard and Louise (Laur) Tickett.
Bobby, as he was known to family and friends, was a lifelong area resident and attended Niagara Wheatfield Schools. For many years, he was employed as a roofer and also worked in construction. Bobby loved the outdoors, bonfires, riding his bike and spending time with his friends. He would do anything for anyone, even if it meant giving the shirt off his back. Bobby was an all around great guy.
Bobby is survived by his former spouse, Helen (Mietlicki) Tickett; daughter, Tenisha Tickett; grandchildren, Destiny and Lance Evans; sisters, Roxanne (Daniel) Schultz, Carol Lafler and Donna Norton Tickett and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Edward and Richard and his nephew, Timothy Lafler, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Bobby’s life on Tuesday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY (716-297-9007). Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
