NORTH TONAWANDA. March 19 -
William J. Werth. 59 years old, died
yesterday at his home, 127 Rumbold
avenue, after an illness of three weeks
with heart disease. He was born in
Unionville, Mich., and had resided in
North Tonawanda for 25 years. He
was a member of North Star Lodge,
No. 337, Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are a wife, Anna; two sons,
Benjamin, Bakersfield, Calif., and Nor-
man, North Tonawanda; a daughter,
Mrs. Norman Bush, North Tonawanda;
two brothers, Fred Werth, Unionville,
and Alvin, Bay City, Mich., and a sister
Mrs. John Schermenhorn, Wilmington,
cal. The funeral will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the resi-
dence.
NOTE:
Although the obit says he was born in Michigan, the census records indicate he was born in New York - probably in the Town of Royalton
